This Week
In phonics we have been revising some level 3 sounds as well as revising some of the level 3 tricky words. We have been writing simple sentences with some of the tricky words; all, was and my. In maths we have been learning all about number bonds to 10 where the children have worked hard writing number sentences as well as arranging objects to 10, finding double and making double.
We have continued to explore the season of spring and have started to plant our own sunflower seeds supporting our learning in science. We have also been practicing our computing skills, logging on, opening a program and using the mouse.
All the children have enjoyed wearing something red to support the Red Nose Day appeal and we talked about where the money raised goes and how it helps.
Next Week
In phonics we will be revising more level 3 sounds and will continue to write simple sentences with a focus on capital letters, finger spaces and full stops. In maths we are going to be learning all about 3D shapes.
We will continue to plant a variety of seeds in our outside area, fingers crossed they will germinate.
Notices
We have our bike ability sessions on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday next week, where everything will be provided. Please ensure your child comes wearing leggings or tracksuit bottoms with trainers.
Thank you for all your support,
Miss Morling
