Year 5 – Activity trip
Each year we take the Year 5 children on a shorter, 3-day residential trip to a local Activity Centre. This is a fantastic experience for the children and they get to do a wide range of activities which are academic or adventure based, these activities change but include team building, problem solving and The Giant’s Swing.
Year 6 – Residential trip
In Year 6, the children spend a full school week away, most recently in the Valleys at Merthyr Tydfil in Wales, exploring the area and participating in various water and land-based activities including caving, kayaking, canoeing, climbing, archery and abseiling! It is a fantastic experience for the children and a wonderful opportunity to gain independence skills before going onto the next stage in their education.
