At St John’s, we offer two residential opportunities a year.
Year 5 – Activity trip
Each year we take the Year 5 children on a residential trip to an Activity Centre. This is a fantastic experience for the children and they get to do a wide range of activities which are academic or adventure based, these activities change but include team building, problem solving and The Giant’s Swing.
Year 6 – Residential trip
In Year 6, the children spent a week at Abernant Lake in Wales, exploring the Lake and partipating in various water-based activities including raft building, stand up paddleboarding, kayaking and a lake challenge! It was a fantastic experience for the children and a wonderful opportunity to gain independence skills before going onto the next stage in their education.
