We are looking forward to getting to know you all and would now like to share a few routines with you.
P.E. Kit: Must be brought into school every Monday and taken home on Friday. Girls should have an extra pair of socks when they wear tights. Trainers are essential. Tracksuits can be worn in the colder months.
Swimming: Children go swimming every Tuesday. Please ensure that they have their swimming kit in school on that day. Girls need to have their hair tied back.
Reading: – Your child will bring home a reading book. We would ask that you read with your child at least three times per week.
Homework: Will be set in accordance with the homework policy. Homework is set on Thursdays. It is always due in on the Tuesday after it is set. It is usually maths and a task linked to our Science, Geography or History topic area. Spellings will be given weekly and children will be assessed throughout the week. The children will also have times tables to practise.
Going home: To ensure the safety of your child please inform the teacher and office, via email, if your child will be going home with somebody different than usual.
