Highlights of the week: reading our book, Wombat Goes Walkabout and writing some descriptive sentences in English; comparing two digit numbers, finding 1 more and 1 less than a number and plotting numbers on a numberline in maths; practicing for sports day in PE; comparing deciduous and evergreen leaves around the school grounds in science and more!
This week the children also completed their phonics screening assessments. The results will come out with the end of year reports.
Next week in maths we will be learning about money. We will learn to recognise notes, coins and count amounts of money.
