Dear parents,
It was lovely to meet most of you on Wednesday’s Meet The Teacher. I have attached the slides from this and our timetable for your interest.
Highlights of the week:
• History: Discussing our changes from when we were babies to now.
• English: Matching pictures to different emotions and writing about them.
• Phonics: Learning the ‘ay’ sound.
• Maths: Counting up and backwards to 10, recognising numbers as words, representing groups of objects, and finding 1 more.
Mrs Main would like you to bring in a picture of your child from when they were a baby. Could you please send photos to: am@stjohnsprimary.org
Please practice reading words containing the ‘ay’ sound which can be found on the bookmark inside your child’s reading journal.
