Dear Parents,
We have had a wonderful week after the Half Term break and the children have returned refreshed and eager to learn. I have enclosed new spellings which are in the children’s book bags. The spelling tests will resume next Friday 7th March.
It is World Book day next Friday and I know that the children are really keen getting dressed up. Please can the children bring the book so that we can celebrate the books.
We have our session in the school library on Monday afternoon. So please make sure that the children’s library book is in the children’s bags.
In Maths we are studying money. I would welcome the children have an opportunity to practise spending money. I know it can be time consuming in our busy lives. However, it is an important skill and I am also working on calculating the change too. I know that some children are good at saving their money too.
Last week was the children’s last swimming session.
