Homework Overview

Each week your child will need to complete the following:
Reading
Those children who read three times a week will get a house point. Please listen and initial when your child has read to you.We want the children to broaden their vocabulary and improve their comprehension skills through reading regularly both at school and at home.
Spellings
The children will be sent home a list of ten spellings to learn each week. They will be tested on these spellings on a Tuesday. The children will also need to practice their spellings on spelling shed. https://www.spellingshed.com/en-gb/
Times Tables
The children will be taking part in fast maths. They will be completing a multiplication grid in a set amount of time to help improve their times tables. They will also be completing a number facts grid using addition and subtraction to 100.
The times tables need to be learnt in this order 2, 5, 10, 3, 4, and 8.
