This week
In phonics we have learnt new sounds: ur, ow (clown), oi and ear. We have covered tricky word “you” and have been practising writing words as well as short sentences together. We have been exploring length and height in maths with the children making the tallest and shortest towers from different objects in our environment. In PE we have started practicing ball skills, rolling, bouncing and catching with a partner.
Next week
In phonics we will be learning the sounds: air, ure and er. We will be learning the tricky word ‘they’. We will be practicing saying and writing simple sentences together. We will continue exploring length and height comparing many different things.

On Monday the 26th we are very lucky to be having a drumming workshop session in the morning.
