Reception Newsletter 29.11.2019
This week
In phonics, we have looked at new letters r and h and have begun to read captions looking at the spaces between words and re-reading the whole caption to make sense. We have looked at tricky word “the” and “I”.
In maths, we were looking at one more and one less using a number line and practical resources.
Notices
- PE bags have come home today because we have to clear all the cloakrooms for the Fair. Please return them to school by Wednesday next week as we still have PE.
- Next week will be our last library visit this term. We will collect the books back in on WEDNESDAY 4th
- Nativity costumes need to be in school by Monday 2nd December please as explained on the letter in the children’s book bags. All the boys need a brown or black t shirt and brown or black trousers/leggings or tights as they will be camels. The girls all have school angel costumes so don’t need to bring anything in.
- Please return your ticket request for the Nativity if you have not done so. Those children that we haven’t heard from have paper copied of the letter in book bags today.
