Class 6 Homework

Each week, homework will be posted on Google Classroom with instructions and a due date (usually a week later). Children should try to complete their homework independently – they are able to message me via Google Classroom for help if necessary.

• Spellings – Spelling Shed – weekly games and challenges to complete. A spearate sheet will also be sent home
• Maths – Maths Shed – Weekly task and games related to current learning.
• SPaG – CGP Grammar Books – set pages to complete weekly.
• Reading – 15-20 mins per day. Try to listen to your child a couple of times a week if possible – it is still very beneficial to their reading and comprehension skills. Children are rewarded for having their reading record initialed three times a week by parents.
• TTRockstars – there will be ongoing battles and competitions throughout the year.
• There will be the occasional extra piece of topic or project work to complete at home.
• Children can send in any extra work they have done related to topics etc. and will be shared on Year 6’s Wall of Fame!
