It has been a real pleasure getting to know your children this week. I have been really impressed by the way they have started coming into school and settling to their activities in the classroom and making new friends.

Our topic for the start of this term is ‘All About Me’ (not me the teacher but all about them!!!). It would be great if you could send in a family photo for us to ‘display’ as we will be reading a story about different types of families and they can share their own families in class.

Reminder: If you have not returned your permission slip for Tapestry please could you do so on Monday – Thank you

On Monday I would still like the children to line up altogether via the front door at 9am (just incase any of them forget what the routine is over the weekend). On Tuesday if your child has an older sibling at the school they can bring them down to the classroom when they are dropped off. If your child is happy to leave you at the door they can wait for a few minutes with Mrs Warrener and a Year 6 pupil will help guide them down to the classroom. We will ‘play it by ear’ on Tuesday and see how everyone copes with the slight change.

Pick-up will still be at 1pm from the main entrance.
