The children have completed their first full week of school, I hope they have enjoyed it as much as I have.

We have been talking about our families, sharing photographs and drawing pictures. We have played listening games and ‘getting to know you’ games as the children learn more about each other, make new friends and come together as a class. We’ve explored the school grounds and the children are becoming increasingly confident and independent in school routines and navigating their surroundings.

We’ve enjoyed dancing together, story times, songs, rhymes and playtimes on the field. It’s been a busy week!

Moving forward, my time out of class will be on a Wednesday and Friday afternoon, and Mrs Blakely will be teaching during these times.

Next week we have our reception parents information evening at 7pm Wednesday. I look forward to seeing you there.
